About Micro to Mainframe (MtoM)
Core Business
Micro to Mainframe (MtoM) assists organisations in realising their return on investment through effective, structured software testing solutions – before, during and after implementation. MtoM's vision is to optimise the performance and functionality of our clients' software.
We understand IT projects and environments.
What does the Micro to Mainframe logo mean?
The Micro to Mainframe logo has been designed to communicate the vibrant, technology based feel of Micro to Mainframe.
This has been achieved by offsetting vibrant yellows with blacks and silver greys whilst the contemporary typeface and interlinked disk like images speak to technology and forward thinking. Furthermore the logo has been designed to offer the viewer two additional communications:
Making sure things work
Micro to Mainframe are software testers, a company obsessed with breaking or making sure things work. As though looking close-up at the elements in a high tech machine, the wheel-like elements remind us of what we do - looking in minute detail at mechanisms within the software we test to ensure that it does what it is engineered to do.
Looking beyond the obvious
The circular element that forms the "O" of Micro has been designed to be seen as an eye. This eye alludes not only to the concept of analysis that forms the core of Micro to Mainframes offering, but acts also as a reminder that truly novel solutions are most often found once one begins to look beyond the obvious.

This led him on a successful journey that saw him creating and managing several businesses, developing, importing, marketing and distributing a range of IT products along the way.
Throughout his career he has continually sought out new technologies for the South African market. For instance, in the mid-1980s he introduced a product to connect PCs to IBM SNA (mainframe) networks. In 1987 he pursued a market that has since emerged as Enterprise Wide Development, involving the development of IBM mainframe (MVS) and Client-Server systems.
As Managing Director of MtoM, he has now narrowed his focus to IT testing services, offering complete IT testing solutions and IT software testing.
